Meredith Sause began her formal training at The North Carolina School of the Arts in the high school, pre-professional program. She has studied with Kimberly Jentzen in Los Angeles, Anne Bogart in Saratoga Springs NY, the National Theatre of the Deaf in Chester Connecticut, and the Woolly Mammoth Theatre in Washington, DC. She has a strong foundation in voice and holds a Master's of Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Gallaudet University. Meredith knew she wanted to be an actor when she was about 5 years old, but was embarrassed to actually call herself one until she was about 37 years old. She won the award for Best Actor at The Carrboro Film Festival 2014 for "Liyana On Command" and "Spin." She also directs. Her first narrative short film, Keepsake, is currently on the festival circuit, winning Best Cinematography at the Carrboro Film Fest, Best Narrative Fiction short film at Trenton Film Fest, Best Short Film at the South Carolina Cultural Film Fest, and Best Short Drama at the Down East Flick Fest 2016.



Meredith recently played Vanda in the erotic comedy by David Ives, "Venus in Fur."
Presented by American Theater Practice and Common Ground Theatre.
